With the new generation of inductors coming on the market, a new market has emerged for the more affordable model.
The Canadian manufacturer of 3rd-generation inductors is expecting to start shipping these new models in the first quarter of 2018.
“It’s really a no-brainer,” said Rob Silliman, president and CEO of Cyntec Inc., which makes the inductor.
“We have a market and we want to be the leader in it.”
Silliman says the new 3rd Generation inductors can be used in cars and other vehicles that need high-voltage power, including small SUVs and pickup trucks.
The newer inductors have a capacity of up to 1,500 amps.
They have also been approved for use in drones and electric cars.
The new 3D-printed models are the first step in the company’s quest to develop an affordable version of the technology.
The new inductors are made from materials that are less costly to produce and can be more durable than traditional materials.
But they’re also more expensive.
That means they’re less attractive for those looking to buy a new vehicle or upgrade to a higher-performance car.
“You could be looking at a $500, $600 car,” Sillima said.
“I think you’re going to be looking for something a little bit more affordable.”
The new inductor designs can be found at a number of specialty car dealerships.
For example, one of the new models at AutoZone is a new 3R3 that has an aluminum core and weighs just 1.3 kilograms.
The company says it has more than 1,000 units in the works.
“We have some in the pipeline and we have some coming out at dealerships as well,” Sulliman said.
The company is hoping to have the new inductance technologies ready for mass production by the end of the year.
It’s also planning to have a version of its new inducted technology on the road in 2018.
For now, Silliamans focus is on the new model in the truck segment, which is the biggest market for the new products.
“This is the new wave of the industry,” he said.
“Our goal is to deliver a good value for the consumer.”
